Why apply Egg credit card? Balance transfers is one reason although not the only reason. The Egg card also offers a 0 APR purchase introductory offer and cash back with certain retailers. But the balance transfer options are what set this credit card above the others in our opinion.

With the UK Egg credit card you have several balance transfer options available to you. Upon first activating the card, there is the standard introductory offer of 0 APR for 12 months on balances transferred. After that there is the Anniversary offer that allows you to transfer a balance once a year on the month you signed up for you card. Meaning in 2010 and 2011 on the month you signed up for the card you can transfer a balance and receive 0 APR for 5 months on the balance transferred.
